Rumah Kebebasan
Vocational House and Entrepreneurship Training
Vocational House of Freedom: Rumah Rangkai Karsa Tridaya is a community intervention initiative by Liberty Society targeting poverty and unemployment through empowerment. This strategy aims to elevate sustainability efforts by providing upskilling opportunities in tailoring, food and beverages, and barbershop services. These training programs grant access to jobs and markets, thereby improving livelihoods.
Upcycling Waste to Value
To ensure the sustainability of the empowerment program, our training is purposed to prepare the communities so they are able to utilize and add values of waste from their area/working sectors by upcycling them into new products.
Microfinancing Program
We sponsor small businesses, particularly mobile coffee vendors (starling), by refurbishing used bicycles and converting them into mobile coffee carts. Additionally, through our microfinance program, we provide capital to individuals, especially women, to empower them to start and grow their own businesses

"Here, I can learn to sew bags, clothes, and also process plastic waste. In addition, I am grateful that both of my children with disabilities are given a space to develop themselves through this program. Many thanks to the Liberty Foundation and the KPI Team. My hope is that the products I sew can be sold and help support my family's finances." - Yeti, 58, Warakas Tailoring Training Participant

"My impression during the training with Liberty Society is that I feel happy and have gained more knowledge. The fun part was making many new friends, even though one of the challenges was the difficulty in stitching fabric scraps together. However, the new thing I’ve gained is that I’ve become more skilled at sewing. My hope for the future is that I can get a steady and successful job." - Kodir, Tambora Tailoring Training Participant
