Liberty Society chosen as Top 10 Indonesian SEs in Instellar x IKEA Accelerator Program

The ISEA Accelerator Programme is a partnership between Instellar and IKEA Social Entrepreneurship to create better opportunities for marginalized and vulnerable people, by contributing to the scale up of local social enterprises (SEs). This programme aims to scale up SEs who are working to improve the conditions for targeting beneficiaries in second tier islands across Indonesia by offering them tailor-made mentorship, access to grants, and ecosystem exposure.

Interstellar and IKEA selected Top 10 Local SEs to be accelerated within 16 months duration of the programme. Liberty Society is immensely honored to be selected as one of the  Top 10 SEs in Indonesia to participate in the ISEA Accelerator Programme.

Specifically to Liberty Society, the programme will enable us to improve our product curation and quality control process. While also enabling us to expand our B2B market outside of the Java region through connecting with more clients. Additionally, the mentoring programme offered by IKEA co-workers and Instellar experts will also improve people management, focusing on diversity and inclusion in the workplace.

Tamara Gondo, CEO of Liberty Society, stated, “We are happy to participate in this accelerator and be surrounded by passionate, energetic and visionary enterprises. It is a pleasure to be all growing together with the IKEA global team towards the same goal!”

In June 7-8, ISEA organized the ISEA Impact Business Days in Hotel Pullman Thamrin. The Impact Business Days brings together a diverse community of professionals, entrepreneurs, investors, and ecosystem enablers to explore sustainable and socially responsible business practices as well as to connect and collaborate with one another.

Liberty Society’s CEO, Tamara, was also invited as a speaker in the ISEA panel on “Shaping a Sustainable Business with More Women-led Enterprises for a Better Future”. Moreover, Liberty Society was also extremely pleased to create 240 tote bags for all the event attendees and IKEA higher executives. These canvas tote bags were all individually sewn by House of Liberty’s refugee women! Interested in collaborating with our initiatives? Reach out to us through hello@liberty-society.com right away!
