Our Community
REFUGEES
There are 200+ refugees from Middle East and African countries who are located in Serpong, Indonesia alone - living off development funds that are barely enough to support their families' basic needs. They spend their hours at home, unable to have basic rights like education.
The community come to our center to find refuge, a sense of community, and livelihood.
SPECIAL NEEDS INDIVIDUALS
We partner with disabled communities in Jakarta Barat and Tangerang to create products with us. These differently abled communities are able to creatively share their skills for our consumers and brand partners.
Why Women?
An educated woman is better able to educate her children who, in turn, will be more likely to receive formal education themselves. An educated ,empowered woman, too, will raise a healthier, stronger, and more financially independent family. In reality, there are women who are unable to care for their family nor themselves due to their unfortunate circumstances.
Through Liberty Society, we hope to empower these marginalized women in our community by providing them with up-skilling training programs, a safe community, as well as employment.
