Their Story

Started back in 2017, with the brand name “Lighten Up,” Redivivus focused on fashion and accessories. After a holiday in Thailand, right before the pandemic happened, they got inspired by the various cork-based goods there. Thus, they decided to rebrand into "REDIVIVUS," shifting their focus into just accessories right when the pandemic hit.

The Hands Behind Redivivus

REDIVIVUS is made up of a community of Javanese seamstresses, living in Bali.

Their Impact

With sustainability and eco-friendliness in mind, REDIVIVUS'  products don't decrease the number of cork trees. The cork fabric that makes up all their goods are all-natural and recyclable. Cork is also 100% biodegradable.

Harvesting cork also does not damage the trees wherein they are not cut down, but instead pried of their outside layer. When harvesting the cork, laborers take great care to ensure that living part of the tree is not damaged. Thus, their environmental footprint is minimal.
