By upcycling discarded Telin uniform Batik fabric and plastic waste into stylish and durable card wallets, this initiative blends fashion with function while reducing environmental impact. It also empowers communities and shows how businesses can drive positive change through creative and responsible solutions.
The upcycled Batik card wallet initiative brings both environmental and social benefits. Each wallet saves 1.31 kg of plastic waste and reduces 32 kg of CO₂e emissions compared to using polyester, helping ease the burden on landfills and oceans. From 30 batik uniforms, this project can produce 100 upcycled card wallets.
Telin and Liberty Society upcycled card wallets show that upcycled products can be both stylish and useful. Made with colorful Batik patterns, each wallet blends culture, function, and sustainability. They are designed to carry cards or small items while helping people make eco-friendly choices.
